This policy explains how refunds work at Book Rise Media. We want to be fair to both clients and our team. Please read this before starting a project with us.
General Policy
Refunds depend on how much work we have completed. We provide partial or full refunds based on what stage your project is in. We review and process all refund requests within 7 business days.
Refund Schedule by Service Type
Writing and Editing Services
- Full refund: Before we send you the first draft
- 50% refund: After first draft, before final draft delivery
- No refund: After we deliver the final draft
- Time limit: Request within 30 days of final delivery
Marketing Campaigns
- Full refund: Before the campaign starts running
- 50% refund: Within 7 days after campaign starts
- No refund: More than 7 days after campaign is running
- Time limit: Request within 30 days of campaign start date
Publishing Services
- Full refund: Before we start formatting work
- Partial refund: Based on percentage of work completed
- No refund: After distribution setup is complete
- Time limit: Request within 30 days of project start
Consulting and Strategy Sessions
- Full refund: Before the first consultation call happens
- No refund: After the consultation has occurred
- Time limit: Cancel at least 24 hours before scheduled call
Lead Generation Services
- Full refund: Before we deliver your contact list
- No refund: After we deliver your contact list
- Time limit: Request within 30 days of delivery
Monthly Retainer Services
- No refund: For the current month already paid
- Cancellation: Allowed anytime for future months
- Effective date: Cancellation takes effect on next billing date
How to Request a Refund
- Email info@bookrisemedia.com with "Refund Request" in subject
- Include your invoice number in the email
- Explain clearly why you want a refund
- Allow up to 5 business days for our review
- We will email you our decision
- Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days
- Money returns to your original payment method
Special Circumstances
We review each refund request individually. If there were problems with our service quality, we will work to make it right. Contact us to discuss your specific situation. We want every client to be satisfied.
Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
Please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank or card company. We respond to all refund requests promptly and fairly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in service termination. Chargebacks may also result in additional processing fees.
